A few days ago, as I began my two mile walk down my street, I looked up to the sky and said, “God, Jesus, come walk with me.”
As I reached the end of the street, I turned back to walk to the other end of the street. And out of nowhere, I saw a small white feather come down from right above my head. The feather floated in the wind over my head and floated ahead of me in front of my face. It must have been around ten inches away from my face. As I kept walking, it kept floating right in front of me. I thought, “Wow, someone from heaven is with me.” After about a minute, it floated down to the side of me and landed on the grass.
I turned around to see if there were any big trees that it might have come from, but there weren’t any. The only tall trees that were there were dried up from the freeze. They were bare. I also didn’t see any birds flying around. So either that little feather traveled with the wind a long way to fly over my head, or it was a sign from God or Jesus.
I took it as a sign that God or Jesus were walking with me. I picked up the little feather and brought it home.
Then as I began to write the story, I couldn’t think of the right title for it. After a few minutes, the words, “He Walks with Me” popped into my mind. I didn’t think of it, I actually saw the title in my mind, so I used it. I thought it was perfect.
Remember to seek and you shall find. I’m always seeking God and Jesus. I can’t get enough of them. You can experience these little miracles too. God is always listening.
